My Dad, a true hero in every sense of the word, holds a special place in my heart and the legacy he left behind is something I carry with me every day.
He began his journey as a combat engineer in the United States Army, bravely serving our country and protecting the values we hold dear. After retiring from the US Army, he continued his dedication to hard work and service as a truck driver. It was through his years on the road that he instilled in me the values of perseverance, integrity, and always giving your best.

Sadly, my Dad is no longer with us, but the impact he made during his lifetime remains imprinted on my soul. One of the ways I honor his memory is through my involvement with Mimi's Trucking, a company that I'm proud to say is both woman-owned and black-owned.
By being a part of Mimi's Trucking, I am not only fulfilling my own dreams and aspirations but also continuing my Dad's legacy in the trucking industry. He taught me the importance of hard work, excellence, and making a difference in the lives of others. Through this business, I am striving to carry on his passion for service and dedication to the greater good.
Knowing that my Dad rests in Arlington National Cemetery, surrounded by heroes, fills me with immense pride and gratitude. It is a constant reminder of the sacrifices he made for our country and the love he had for his fellow citizens.
